Whether you are following this trend by means of the average college kid and his Urban Outfitter-fueled apparel, the Brooklyn hipster’s dresser drawer of second-hand ironic tee, or the printed tops seen on the runway by high-fashion designers, it’s fair to say that the graphic print is a fashion staple that is continually evolving.
Take for instance, Jeremy Scott’s smiley face print or Raf Simon’s 60′s infused prints, which are now legendary couture. Christopher Kane’s current Spring ’14 runway show features waves of patterns and some funkadelic faces. And don’t get us started on the myriad of retailers who are dominating the world of graphic tees like Topman, American Apparel and so on.
Similar to the graphic top, print underwear has seen a major rise in production this season. Print fabric offers up an enormous canvas of choices for underwear brands, as it can incorporate different images, texts, patterns and colors.
